A Weekend In Feminine Dress: Apples!

Welcome to A Weekend In Feminine Dress on The Catholic Lady Blog.  This is when I post pictures of myself or a volunteer wearing a modest, feminine outfit including where it was purchased in order to encourage the apostolate of feminine dress.  If you would like to submit your photos, please contact me at:  Thank you!

Our new backyard has three apple trees, so gathering them and making applesauce has been on the agenda.  This is something I was not thinking about when we moved to this house, but it has been so much fun for me and the children!  And in other news we started school...1st grade for Thomas Jr. this year!  It's been going very well, surprisingly easier than I expected.

And here is what I wore yesterday:

Cardigan- Gabes
Blue Top- Gabes (New York & Co)
Skirt- I made!
Black Flats- $2 Consignment

  1. Thank you Mrs. Zimmerman for your blog and the apostolate of feminine dress, modesty and elegance. There is so much ugliness and vulgarity in this world. It is always refreshing to see mothers fighting back in the best way they can, and preparing the generation that will see the future triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I look forward to seeing you and your family soon!

    1. Thank you for your encouragement! I am inspired every day by TFP and really can't thank you enough for the work you do. Glad to hear you are back in town by the way! I like your idea about mothers & confidence too! I had no idea how hard life really was until I didn't have my Mom around every second! She is so much tougher than me though. Maybe it is generational?
